Dining Room

The dining room had a strange bar area with a sink.  All the paneling was removed, carpet and mastic removed, a new wall built to accommodate electricity, new sheetrock and wiring.  All windows were repaired and all wood re-stained.  The George Nelson bubble lamps were cleaned and hard-wired and new wall lights were installed.  We love Robert Madden’s painting on the red wall.  Perfect!  I still need to seal the floors  but we make too big of a mess going in and out of the house so I don’t want to ruin the finish.  That’ll come later.  Stay tuned for more…. it’s always changing.

That toilet paper art piece looks amazing. Did you paint the inside ? You should probably replicate that in metal it looks so cool. I only say that because it should last forever. I am really impressed! You are an artist!

Ha Ha! Artist?? Well, I’m not sure… but thanks! I think I just get restless and have to do “something” with my hands. Yes, I did paint some of them on the insides. What I really wanted to do was to use wood veneer strips… but metal is a great idea. OMG… when will I find the time. (laughing) Thanks for looking. It’s one of those things everyone walks in and looks at but can’t figure out what it’s made of. I love telling them toilet paper rolls!!
