WOW! This is awesome!
How nice, Lindsey. Thanks, I’ll pass that along to my guy. He’s a creative little fart who needs to find more time for it. He hates that I have this up on the blog but a wife has to fuss and be proud, ya know. Thanks for looking!
Umm yeaaa! I’m the same way….hubby’s get so embarassed with us bragging but I think they really love it they just don’t want to fuel the fire haha!
okay, first time checking out richie’s art. pretty fab. AND i’m seeing creepy dollies!!!! so good. post more of his creations, please!
HA HA! Those dolls are definitely creepy! But there’s something wonderful about that, isn’t there? Oh he HATES that I have his art up there. I don’t care… I love how his mind works and what comes out of that. He doesn’t have much time for it now that we’re doing so much work on the house… but it’s really all he WANTS to do. I do love your creepy post idea and I’m tossing that around in my little head. Hope I can pull that one off! Thank you so much for being so supportive of my blog. It’s so nice to have friendly people to exchange with. :-)
Love how diverse he is…My faves from these are the shadow box with the numbers and the one with the baby doll parts (it’s a tie) and the painting of the buildings with people milling around. That one reminds of living in NYC when people would come from all over for New Year’s Eve – we’d just be looking out the windows going, “what’s all the fuss about?”
Oh he’ll be so pleased… I’ll tell him! Right now he’s really into carving wood pieces. I really want him to take more time for it… that and music. He’s a wonderful musician, too. Funny thing is that any time he does something with buildings… it’s always with the memory of NYC. You’re so funny.. “what’s all the fuss about”? When you’re in the middle of cool you get use to it, so it seems so “normal”. I am one of those people, I’m afraid… New York was overwhelming and wonderful to me. We always have that conversation about “what would we do if you won the lottery”? We always agree — get a place in NYC!! Lucky you that you got to have the experience day to day.
I’m so glad I found your blog. Life is better now. Seriously…I love it!
Okay… now it’s my turn… Flattery WILL GET YOU EVERYWHERE with me too! Ha Ha! I’m the one who’s happy you found me!!! I promise when the FP craziness settles I will LOVE looking through and following yours. I’m so thrilled you’re here! :-)
You guys are doing a great job… Everything looks great!
