The atrium located in the front of the house is really the main entrance to the front door.  Richie had to totally tear all the beams and joists out because the entire structure was rotten and leaking.  He and his dad rebuilt the entire frame and we ordered a soft white roof for the top to let in light.  It’s been cleaned re-stained, and looks so much better.  The front door was painted and the side light (handmade by Rex Goode) was re-papered and painted.  We built new screen windows to replace the fiberglass ones.  The pond was too hard to keep up with so it was filled with rocks and plants. It’s always changing but I’ll try to keep updated pictures.
